AXIS Digital Autotracking is a free easy-to-configure application for auto tracking in low traffic areas, installable on Axis fixed network cameras and video encoders with support for AXIS Camera Application Platform.
Reliable autotracking for Axis fixed megapixel cameras

The application automatically detects and follows moving objects such as persons and vehicles, which helps operators to effectively discover and handle incidents. Unlike mechanical autotracking in PTZ cameras, AXIS Digital Autotracking will not lock on a single object. It will instead adapt the view to include several moving objects to reassure that no incidents will be missed-out.
Efficient low-traffic surveillance

The application work in most indoor and outdoor installations in variable lighting conditions. By zooming in on moving objects and discarding information in parts of the scene with no activity, bandwidth and storage needs are reduced. If no movement is detected, the application provides a scaled-down overview.
